i need to write a research paper on win2k pro for my class. what facet of win2k can i write about? any advice would be appreciated :D

    Might try NTFS 5.0.
    Easy management of
    permissions
    compression/encryption(EFS)
    shares

    Maybe ability of w2k to support FAT, FAT32, and NTFS.

    .....lots of things.

    I say these things because that's just about the point of my studies right now.

    Like Janmike said, there are tons of things you can write about. You can do a paper on the MMC or Active Directory. It is totally up to you and what you find interesting! Have fun with it!

    I think janmike's suggestion is a very good one... file systems and their features.

    Or you could do a piece about the various installation methods.

    I don't think ADS is very suitable for pro though...
