Debian Question

Hi there guys

I have just installed a base installation of Debian Net install

I need to download packages but my question is how do I configure the proxy server from the command line?

proxy address is proxy and the port is 8080

also we are using DHCP and I need to know how to configure via the shell

Set it in your apt.conf file.

Something like this:

HTTP {
Proxy "http://proxy.servername:8080";
};
