Finally after what seemed like a million applications I got a 6 month job working through an IT staffing firm. I just had a 20 minute phone interview, then the next day the agent told me I got it. It's working for Verizon helping verizon employees encrypt their laptops using a third-party encryption program. There is something like 14,000 total that needs to be encrypted, working with 8 other people. Pays $17/hr and it will at least give me work while looking for something else. I also got two other interviews lined up in the upcoming weeks. Seems to all come at one time.
