I hope no one minds me starting a new topic for such a dumb question. I did a search and couldn't find it answered anywhere else.
I was asked to send a fax from my computer, but I've never done that before. I scaned the document into photoshop and tried to print on capture fax bvrp. Phone Tools came up. I clicked on send fax. In the dialouge box I typed in the propper fax number. When I clicked on send the following message appeared:
Your transmission will not be processed immediately
Communication port unavailable
Well, it might be trying to use the modem I disabled to use my dsl. I tried re-enabling my old dialup, but it wouldn't connect. I'm not even sure if that's the problem anyways. I don't really know anything about enabling different ports.
Edit: I don't know if it makes a difference, but my OS is XP and my DSL is an efficent networks USB/Ethernet ADSL modem.
