I had an instructor at school ask me if I knew how to find a router's serial number. The sticker was not on the back of the chassi. I'm pretty sure it's not in show version or during the boot sequence. Anyone have any idea?
There is no place like 127.0.0.1 BUT 209.62.5.3 is my 127.0.0.1 away from 127.0.0.1!

On the 7500 you can use the show rsp chassis, on the lower end routers there's no show command but it can be retrieved with SNMP, I think Cisco has a tool to do it on their website. The only easy day was yesterday!
