Batch Files in WinXP
Im trying to use the simply copy command and it wont work in XP.
I need to :
COPY Q:\home\blaming\profiles\GW_Bush\*.js H:\home\Brakes\My Documents\My Music"\ /Y
How come this simply command wont work-what am I missing?

That's an awful lot of directories in that command, i'd doulbe check the spelling/syntax on all of them. I just executed a similar command on my Win2K box to test, and it worked fine.Prais'd be the fathomless universe, for life and joy, and for objects and knowledge curious.' Whalt Whitman -

try running it in cmd box, not command, and not the run dialog box.
Since they invented xcopy.exe I never used copy again...
