when doing an ipconfig/flushdns, is it removing name resolution information locally or in a router somewhere?

i only see reference to it in relation to the 70-270 exam. don't sweat it if you are concentrating on network+

Does it have a path? Like HOSTS or LMHOSTS? I just wanted to know if it is a text file. If nobody knows then it's alright. I'll eventually figure it out. icon_confused.gif
