AD & global catalog on test?

I am getting ready to take this test and my transcender asked me a question about global catalog servers and where to put this one and that one. In the past I have had questions in transcender that looked like they belonged on a different exam, but so far this one takes the cake. Does anyone know if this subject would be on there or anyone have this kind of experience with transcender.

Also noticed that the sim's in transcender are of considerably lesser quality of what is on the acutal test (meaning the spec's aren't defined as well).
