Alternatives to Project+

Does anyone know of any alternatives to Project+ that may be more widely recognized by companies? I like the premise of this certification but I don't like the fact that it's a CompTIA exam. Any thoughts are appreciated.

The MSF doesn't focus on project management, but rather the processes and procedures a group would do together on a team to have a successful project.
