Any 641-821 insight?
HeavyArms
If anyone here has taken the intro exam, can you give some insight as to how it compairs the Network+ exam? I don't really want to buy a book on the 641-821 test if it's comparitively the same as the Network+.

IMO you should take the 640-801 exam... but to answer your question:
the intro exam is a bit like Net+ + router config basics (passwords, rip, config files, ios upgrades, basic show commands, etc.). The material that is similar to net+, which is referred to as networking basics, goes slightly deeper than net+.
You won't be able to pass the CCNA INTRO exam with 'only' your Net+ knowledge...mostly because of the topics that relate to configuring and managing a cisco router... passing the net+ after CCNA INTRO would be a piece of cake though
