EIGRP successor question

Hey guys I know that the feasable successor is placed in the topology table and not in the routing table but is the successor also placed in the topology table as well? To me it makes sense that it would be but I haven't found any documentation saying whether it is true or not.

Every valid route is placed in the topology table, the best route in the topology table is the sucessor and it gets placed in the routing table.Equal path costs or the use of variance could mean multiple sucessors.
