Windows XP compatibility
Hey everyone,
I have a very noob question that I'm quite to embarrassed to ask but I it's been bugging me a lot.
On one of my machines at home I run XP Media Center edition. I have tons of programs on there and it works fine for me. I There are a few programs out there that I would like to put on my pc and play around with but, the minimum system requirements list XP home/pro etc.; but never list specifically Media Center edition. Why is that? Would a media center edition fall under home? Yeah, I know, stupid question but I don't want to install a piece of software on my pc and potentially ruin anything or run into any other issues.
I really appreciate your help everyone.
Chris

WanBoy67 Member Posts: 225XP MCE and XP Home are similar except for the MC program itself. You can't join MCE to a domain, similar to XP Home. I have to say I like the look of the Royale theme within MCE, it can be installed on to a normal XP install as well which is cool.
