well I think he stated that you need a common AS to form an adjacency. In which case both methods would work.
IN the example from the cisco whitepages, the router in the middle has both AS on it. The router in the middle forms an adjacency with the routers on the outside. The AS's do match on each end on the link.
In your example you create an extra AS to have a commonality between only 2 routers to form an adjacency.
Well we learned there are more than one way to skin a cat.
And why was edthelad playing dumb?There is no place like 127.0.0.1 BUT 209.62.5.3 is my 127.0.0.1 away from 127.0.0.1!
