Recommendation for a switch

I'm looking for a switch for my modest home lab. I don't have a lot of money and it would be only for practice for my CCNA. Can anyone tell me what I might look for, or be sure what to *not* get? I will probably do my search on eBay, unless someone knows of a better site. Thanks.

Don't get the 1900 series switches. I got a 2924 and it worked fine. The exam is based on 2950s, though.

What about this one: "Cisco Catalyst WS-C2924C-XL 2924 2900 Series Switch"? Priced at less than ten bucks. Can this be true?

10 bucks is cheap, but you should be able to get a 2900 for $50 or less, the 2950's are more pricey, probably have to pay $150 for one.
