Passed...

I passed this exam today and I can only suggest that if you're going to take this exam KNOW GPO and DNS inside and out. Now, I am going to move to the 070-219 exam (design). I have no idea what that entails. I am taking the SYO-101 Security + exam tomorrow and hope that Microsoft accepts this as an elective. ... sorry for the long post. This MCSE has been a long process for me (since May 2003). I've already gone too far to turn back now! Good luck to all!

Congrats on passing 217. It can be a very difficult exam.

MS does accept the Sec+ as an elective for the MCSE.

I passed 217 & 219 in the spring. for 219 go to technet and take a look at chapters 9 & 10 of the Windows 2000 Deployment Guide and the Domain migration cookbook.

Good job, and he is right, you can use sec+ as an elective..
Plus the 218, from your mcsa. So get your design and all your core and you are an mcse..
