Hey guys,
I'm struggling to understand some things about NAT in certain configurations.
Example 1.
Say you have an MS server 2003 box with 3 NICs configured with NAT.
NIC 1 is public facing and so In NAT is configured as the public facing interface with the address 88.88.88.88
NIC 2 is private and is configured as a private interface in RRAS with this subnet connected to it 192.168.0.0/24
NIC 3 is private but is NOT configured as such in RRAS (i.e. the interface is not specified on the NAT protocol section)
my question is because both these internal interfaces use the same public facing NIC is this interface (and its addresses) translated to the public address? Or is this effectively a DMZ??
as always any help is greatly appreciated (EXAM booked for Wednesday )
