Hi all!
I'm hoping that someone can help me out with the following 2 problems which i have encountered during my CCNA prep.
1. If you are consoled into a switch (VTP CLIENT), how can you tell the name of the Switch which provided this client with its last VTP configuration update. IP address of the updating server is given at the bottom of the Show VTP status output but telnet to this device fails due to password not being set. Any ideas?
2. You are consoled to the same switch. How can you find out the name of the root switch?
I saw these questions on the net somewhere last week but had to go off to work. When i got back my Wife had turned the computer off and i have been unable to find the site since to get the answers. Its driving me bonkers.
Can someone who knows what they are doing please put me out of my misery!!!
cheers
