Failed by 1 wrong answer...

Hello,
First post but I've been reading this site for a while. Took the 70-291 today, thought I passed, got a 678, passing score was 700... sucks, I'm bummed. That's like 1 question right???

Tons of DNS, WSUS, and IPSec, which killed me. We don't use IPSec at work so I flailed hard on a few of those. I use WSUS 3.0 a lot, was still challenged by the questions, why do they try to make it so tricky, I hate that. WSUS has huge flaws by the way, don't get me started...

Out of the 5 sections :

Implement, Manage, and Maintain Name Resolution (Strong) - 1 missed
Implement, Manage and Maintain IP Addressing (Strong) - 1 missed
Implement, Manage and Maintain RRAS - (Strong) - 1 missed
Maintain a Network Infrastructure (Strong) - 1 missed
Implement Manage and Maintain Network Security ... Strong??

It looks like i missed about 1/3 of those questions... but I get Strong?

That's what killed me... stupid IPSec. Anyways, see you all in 2 weeks when I pass this bastard.

Sorry to hear you missed it, but congrats on being so close - it means you know this stuff and you just have to brush up on IPSec. As you state, the questions can be very tricky if you miss a key word or two they hide in the essay question.
