"Subnetting"
[Edit by Webmaster: please don't post screenshots or copies from other practice test providers]
Really struggling and the exam is next week! I think it's the diagram that throws me off: I don't understand how to read it? This is pretty much the only thing I SERIOUSLY need to touch up on before showtime, so I'd appreciate it. I didn't see anything on the Technotes (although I could just be blind, so correct me if I'm wrong).

Webmaster Admin Posts: 10,292 AdminNo problem. I forgot to actually answer your question, so to answer it: You won't have to go into subnetting as far as for the CCNA exam for example, but it's important to know the default classes (A, B, C) for IP addresses and be able to determine whether systems use the correct IP and mask to be able to communicate with other systems in the network. Although SelfTest provides good quality practice exams, this question in particular goes too far into subnetting for the 70-270 exam.
And you're right, the 70-270 exam objectives about TCP/IP are not in the 70-270 TechNotes.
Although it goes further than needed, try www.learntosubnet.com and you could also try my TCP/IP Suite TechNotes for the Network+ exam as a quick intro/refresher:
