Getting in the field

Hi guys, I've spent the last 12 month getting certifications, studying around my full time job (which I hate) in order to get into a new career.
I've passed A+, 70-270, CCNA and I'm studying for 70-290 at the moment.
So far in my working career I've never had the chance to gain some experience in the IT sector,
only customer service in retail. I'd like to enter the new field from a helpdesk/network support position to put to use the knowledge I've acquired and then see where I can go from there.
I live in London and everywhere I look the answer is the same old one: I need at least 1+ year experience in the field to be considered.
Now I need some help, is there any charitable employer willing to take me on board even without experience? How do I find and approach them? I'm willing to accept unpaid job, if that's the way to go.
Please help.
Thank you.

There are several voluteering organisations/self employed organisations you can approach like:
PC Homehelp
ICTHub
IT4C
EverybodyOnline
SuperHighways
CAB (contact your local one)
ITCH
TeamTechies
Some are IT specific, some aren't. As for approaching them, just send them an e-mail describing yourself and what you want to do and see what they say. Anyway, hope this helps.

You dont have to put temporary on the resume. Just put the job. After this I started getting alot of calls. Didnt get me the jobs but got the interviews. YOu might have a better personality or be younger which will help you in the interview. Just DONT Give Up. It will come
