Hey guys,
I've just slipstreamed SP2 into my XP files and had no problems in that respect. I also extracted the boot image from my original XP disc using Isobuster. I then burned everything to a new cd but it won't boot (getting this msg: cannot boot from cd. code: 4 ). I'm using Roxio Creator Plus-Dell Edition software to burn. I think that might be the issue but I'm not sure. It has the option of making a cd bootable but it doesn't let you set any parameters like no emulation and other settings. In tutorials I've read off the internet about slipstreaming and burning discs the software used is either Roxio or Nero(but not the one I'm using) and they instruct you make sure certain settings are set to this and that before you burn. Any thoughts? Any insight would be appreciated, thanks.
