As far as I know, mostly QoS and some security features. For CCNA, I really wouldn't worry about it. I used to advise people to get 2950s if at all possible, but I have changed my stance on that after learning more about the different models and architectures.
For just CCNA, switching is just barely touched on, so no need to worry about this kind of thing. If you are fully committed to continuing your studies after CCNA, then try to build your lab with only 2950s and throw in a 3550 if at all possible.
