I have a few questions about the CCNA exam.
1. What is the passing score needed XXX out of XXX points?
2. Are some questions weighted heavier than others?
3. How many questions are on the exam?
4. If a multiple answer question has 3 answers, but you only answered 2 of them correctly, do you get partial credit for the correct ones, or is the entire question missed (0 points)?
5. What is the differnce between a Simulation question and a Simlet?
Thanks guys, I am a newbie to all of this. As you can tell.

Cisco tells you what you need to pass when you take the exam, but doesn't publish that information (so it may be covered by the Cisco Career Certifications and Confidentiality Agreement ).
2. One of the few things Cisco has admitted -- the SIMs count for more (it's mentioned in the CCNA Forum FAQ).
3. Cisco gives you a range on the Certification exam web pages.
From the 640-801 page - Duration: 90 minutes (55-65 questions)
From the 640-802 page - Duration: 90 Minutes (50-60 questions)
4. Your guess on this one is just as good as anyone else's -- Cisco doesn't say, other then you do get partial credit on SIMs.
5. Check out the Cisco Certification Exam Tutorial for question types and a link to the pre-exam demo you get at the test center.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set!
