Two forms of ID?

I'm taking the CCNA exam tomorrow, and VUE says to bring 2 forms of ID... I only have a drivers license. What other kind of ID do they expect?

EDIT: I just found my Social Security card with my signature on it. I assume that will do. So nevermind ;\.

If you're in the USA I think a driver's license is just fine, FYI.

I normally use my drivers license and bank card when I take an exam. Only one of them has to have your picture, but they both have to have you signature, so make sure the bank card is signed before you give it to them.

If you do provide a bank card, credit card, etc... Make sure they do not make a copy of it along with your driver’s license. Some testing sites I've tested at previously made copies of the forms of identification.

Personally I don’t like the ideal of them having my check card number, exp # and security code (since they make a copy of the back of the card) as well as my driver’s license which provides my birthday, drivers license id and permanent address.

Although some testing sites do make copies, others don’t, apparently some testing sites do this to cover their @$$.

So if you can, it's always best to provide drivers license and work/student badge.

Has any one else had their ID's copied?

I've never had mine copied and they never asked for two forms. I just showed them my license and was good to go.

    ignign0kt,

Here's what I understand are the required criteria for the forms of ID:
    1. ID #1
      [list=1:f6d4755a29]
    2. Photo
    3. Name
    4. Signature
    [*]ID #2
    1. Name
    2. Signature

    george,

Photocopy of a valid drivers' license is standard practice for most businesses such as VUE, actually. At least here in California. However, no one should EVER be photocopying your check, debit, or general banking information ever. That's illegal and whoever gave the administers of those tests orders to photocopy that information, should know better.

I knew that much lol... I was just saying I've had it done and had to stop the administrator icon_eek.gif Just making sure other people know. Some people have it done and they even watch them copy the id's and dont think nothing of it.

I used my driver's license and my Costco card.
