What ports to open?
I recently installed a software firewall and noticed that since I started file sharing, I have received all kinds of SYN attacks, etc. I decided to create a rule, blocking all ports, then manually opening the ones I need to allow connections on.
What ports should a normal home PC have open to operate without problems. Obviously port 53 for DNS would be a good one. Right?
