Microsoft 2nd shot offer?

Hello,

I have been studying off and on for the 70-270 exam, and I just came across the Microsoft 2nd shot offer. I passed both the Network+ and Security+ last year at the Pearson VUE testing center, and it seems this 2nd chance offer is only available at Prometric Testing Centers. What is the difference between the two testing centers, and why is this offer not available at Pearson VUE?

It is not offered at Pearson Vue test centers because you cannot take Microsoft certification exams at Vue testing centers. You can only take MS exams at Prometric.
