Going from MCP 2000 to MCSE 2003

Hi Guys
I came across this forum via google whilst looking up info for the 70-216 exam which I've booked to take on the 23rd of this month (fingers crossed)
I recently finished a long term contract & decided I was going to take some time out finish off my certs, I began the MCSE 2000 track back in 2001, I passed 70-210 & 215 back then & stopped. Luckily today I came across the exam discontinuation notice on the M$ site, which has made me even more determined to get everything rolling along, hopefully just under 6 months will be enough to do 6 exams (70-217, 219, 220, 221, 292, 296).
To study for exams in the past I've always done a transcender before starting studying & another when I've finished as it gives me a clear indication of how far I've progressed. I'm feeling kinda optimistic as I managed to get 582 & I've only read the first 4 chapters of the 70-216 M$ Press book.
I was hoping to juggle studying for the ACSA 10.4 & MCSE inbetween each other, but it's going to cost me a great deal more if I end up with a bunch of expired certs so the ACSA will have to wait.
Is there anyone else out there trying to fast track to MCSE 2003 from MCP 2000 before March 31 2008???

I feel you man.
I am somewhat in the same position. I have A+, MCP 2000 + I have passed the 70-218 exam. My incredible laziness prevented me from taking 70-216 to complete my MCSA. I moved to Cali..got a good job as a IT TECH, 4 yrs later I am the IT MANAGER of the same company (which is now VERY UNSTABLE right now...DAMN REAL ESTATE!!
) so its time to get back in the CERTS game while i finish my Bachelors from Devry.
Here is my "TENTATIVE" plan...I am taking SEC+ to get my MCSA 2K, 70-292 to upgrade to MCSA 2003 and shooting for CCNA next year. Not sure about MCSE 2003 yet.

ok i need help, failed 70-216 this weekend, using just MS book and Exam Cram. Any help appreciated. Possibly looking to purchase used materials.
