I know there is a 2000 and 2003 track. If I go the route of 2000, will I be required to take a test in the future for the 2003 track? Also, what are the courses which are required? I'm unfamiliar with MS certs, but want to go for my MCSA after my Security+. Thanks in advance.

If you get the MCSA 2000 you will not be required to upgrade to MCSA 2003. but if you decide to, it is one exam.Andy
