Please i need a little help !!!
I understand groups a little. I know that universal groups are able to access resources across domains and forest if that applies. I know global groups are domain wide. But domain-local is frustrating. Is the domain-local group for resources on that DC or is it like a global group. Please help me understand thanks

*think of only applying groups to file permissions
Domain-local = LOCAL to the domain when assigning file permissions
Global = global to the domain when assigning file permissions
Universal = universal to the domain when assigning file permissions
once I have remembered that I can construct the rest of the arguments by assigning opposites to adding users to the groups
domain-local = global (the opposite of what is remembered above) to adding users
global = local (the opposite of what is remembered above) to adding users
universal = always universal
This a memorization tactic not an explanation of what it does.
