Does anyone know of any good place to get some practice on summary routes?
I have been informed that there is not a site like this:
http://www.subnettingquestions.com/default_int.asp
in regards to summary routes.
But I would just like another resource, something that would allow me to double check my work.
I am not looking for a brain ****. But like the web site above, I would like to just work out some summary routes over and over so I feel more confident about it.

BTW, MikeJ412 stated he was not aware of a summary route practice website.
So I understand that a site doesn't exist. But maybe folks could share their summary route practice methods?
Once again not looking for brain ****. vencrypt the encryption, never mind my brain hurts. -
networker050184 Mod Posts: 11,962 ModI don't know of any sites, but summary routes are not that complicated. Its just lik a large subnet that includes a lot of smaller networks. If you are good on subnetting you should be good on summerizing as well. For example you have the following networks
172.16.0.0 /24
172.16.1.0 /24
172.16.2.0 /24
172.16.3.0 /24
You can summerize these routes with an adress of 172.16.0.0 255.255.252.0. Its just like a large subnet. Try not to look at it too deep.An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made. -

Then manually summarize those subnets, similar to what networker just provided. There is no place like 127.0.0.1 BUT 209.62.5.3 is my 127.0.0.1 away from 127.0.0.1!
