Hey there,
I'm about to take the 640-801 test (hoorray!!!!!!), but I have a doubt, is Subnet Zero enabled or not in this test?
I've read some posts and instead of clarifying this to me, they just get me a little bit more confused, so anybody's help is really appreciated.
Btw, any suggestions for the big day???
Thx!

rakem Member Posts: 800i would say to use subnet zero unless the question tells you not to use it.
subnet zero has been enabled by default on routers for a while now, so i would say to use it.
for the big day, just relax, i wrote out the subnetting tables as soon as i sat down for a quick reference.
If your confident in all the areas then you shouldn't have a problemCCIE# 38186

Yeah this is correct, the current exam wants you to use 2**s to calculate the number of subnets and 2**h-2 to find the number of hosts. The only easy day was yesterday! -
Wetwombat Member Posts: 4 ■□□□□□□□□□I took the test on monday, failed, (CURSE YOU! Next Time, Gadget, NEXT TIME!), and don't recall seeing anything that left me blinking and saying "THAT'S not even CLOSE to what I came up with!" And I totally forgot about ip subnet zero.
