OFDM - 802.11?

I am studying for the Network+ and I have found my 1st "stumper". I am using the ExamCram2 book as well as Train Signals and they have conflicting information about what 802.11 wireless standard uses the OFDM type of spread spectrum.
ExamCram2 = 802.11a
Train Signals = 802.11b
I tend to believe that 802.11a is the correct answer because b and g are compatible and a is not. Yes/No?
