Is this certification or any exams retiring soon. I went on the website and i know that the arch exam will be retiring in feb of nex year....but looking at some old threads i read stuff about this exam retiring the end of the year or something.
Can anybody comment on this, I hope i'm right because i'm going after this cert after the ccda.

Dude, if you go to cisco.com and check the details for the CCDP it clearly says what tests you need to get the certification:
CCDP Exams & Recommended Training
Required Exam(s)
Recommended Training
642-901 BSCI Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks (BSCI)
642-812 BCMSN Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks (BCMSN)
642-873 ARCH Designing Cisco Network Service Architectures (ARCH)
OR
642-871 ARCH
Last day to test 2/23/08 Designing Cisco Network Service Architecture (ARCH)
All this means is that the ARCH exam is being updated. Don't worry.

Cool just making sure. It could have been something where the website didnt have an update as yet.
Big relief...so next CCDA, CCDP,CCNP

It would have been very strange that they remove Design associate and Professional levels.
They just released a beta exam for a kind CCIE Design (CCDE in fact).
Just my $0.02
