Is it possible to have a PC with 2 nics, have system booting XP and a Virtual machine running a Linux install and have the Linux install to run on a different network card than the XP install?
Basically have:
system booting XP running on built in NIC on mainboard
seperate PCI NIC installed in machine
Slackware, CentOS or Ubuntu running in a virtual machine
now set the Linux install to run out of the virtual machine to the PCI network card.

Running 2 Vmware machines each having a separte nic. One nic i left as Management, from which i can manage the Linux Ubuntu resources via the Vmware Server Console.
