in CCNA & CCENT
hi guys,
i am looking to setup up my own lab at home, currently i have :
2 x 2501 routers
1 x 2950 switch
all the neccessary cabling (console, cross, straight, dce, dte)
what other equipment do i need and whats the best way to implement the equipment to help me with my studies

ChrisPinSg Member Posts: 8 ■□□□□□□□□□welll er 2 router n 2 switches to best implement most of the stuff u are gonna learn. or u could load the 4 port switch module on the router if it allows.

dtlokee Member Posts: 2,378 ■■■■□□□□□□Yeah having a scecond switch would help for working with spanning-tree (what's the sound on one hand clapping?) If you want to do frame-relay configs you will want a reouter for a frame switch (2520) and possibly a 3rd router. It would be good to get somthing you can install SDM on and use to practice for the 802, but that would require a more expensive device.The only easy day was yesterday!
