Thanks for the links... The only thing I know about scotland is that it's in the south of England. I'm looking for a 1st/2nd Line Support or Helpdesk job 1-3 years experience....

I'm not anti-english, as quite a few Scots are, D-Boy heres a map of the UK which u will find that Scotland is North of England

I believe the IT Market bottomed out in August with 30% of IT sector trained people out of work (According to Computing Weekly). Up to November, there has been a small increase in the number of contract jobs available up over 5%, which always precedes the permanant employment market by around 6 months.
Not a happy place to be, the market may grow in the next couple of years. :

The number of jobs advertised in the Uk is not really reflecting the true state of the market. Yes there are lots of jobs, but there are also a heap of umemployed skilled certified people out there, all applying for these jobs, maybe 250 applicants per position.
