Task Manager & Perfmon
Hi Guys
I have found something thats looks a bit odd
I am copying a very large file (image gho) to our app server to monitor the performance indicators and the results are contradicting each other, if i am actually looking at the same thing which i now doubt
I have perfmon.msc open with added counter "Network Interface" - counter is "Bytes Total/sec"
I also have Task Manager open with the Networking tab
When file is being copied perfom reports the network interface as reaching its maximum whilst in task manager it shows Network Utilization at 6%
Am i looking at the same thing?
Can you try this, find a large file over 1Gig and copy it to a network drive and see if you get same results.
Any help would be great
