This flush's the dns cache on the local computer it is run on only correct?

Of course.
It would be extremely bad if you could flush the dns of other computers, or the server :P

I was thinking that it could possibly flush its own precense out of the DNS server..
You know? kinda like ipconfig /renew (asking for a new ip address)
Just had to varify this..

In an DDNS environment that would happen when you run ipconfig /renew and get a new ip address (i.e. when you ran ipconfig /release first)
