Hey everyone,
Have come across some incorrect answers in the Exam Cram 2 Security+ Practice Questions book.
Just be aware that they're there and if you think an answer is wrong spend more time thinking about it and figure the situation out.
You'll notice them easier if you have studied the material first and not just gone ahead doing questions and then reading the answers.

What, exactly, were the errors? Have you checked the errata, if there is one, for the book to see if the mistakes have already been caught? If they haven't, have you submitted your findings to the authors/publisher in order to update the errata?

One error was:
Objective 1.4.1: DOS/DDOS
1. You are receiving oversized ICMP request packets. What could be the cause? (Select all that could apply.)
a. A ping of death attack
b. A spoofing attack
c. A birthday attack
d. A dictionary attack
The answer in the book was b. and c.
I havn't reported any errors from the book.

When I was studying for my Security+ test I also noticed a lot of errors in the exam cram book. -

Check the errata sheet posted for your book. -

wow, good to know that they actually admit there are errors and post the corrections.
