How long is this cert valid for?

Is it for life like the compTIA certs? or expire like the cisco certs? seems simple enough but haven't found a definitive answer yet.

This cert does not expire and I believe almost all Microsoft certs are good for life. Most people end up having to upgrade their Microsoft certs everytime a new OS comes out.

Just remember that the newer Microsoft certs/tracks (MCTS/MCITP) are a bit different.

i.e. the MCTS will expire when mainstream support for the product you are certified on ends, and the MCITP ones need a 'refresh' every 3 years. In both cases, the fact you passed the exam will always stay on the transcript.
