CBT Nuggets

Hey Guys.

Fantastic Site......

I am preparing for my final exam this for my MCSE certification and have choosen the Security + road.

Has anyone used the CBT Nuggets for this exam ? I am having a hard time finding any of the recommended books locally and may choose the CBT method.

Any feedback regarding CBT Nuggets is much appreciated.

I used them. They are pretty good at making a dull topic tolerable to watch. I'm not saying Security is dull, and the Nuggets are very good, but if you have started to read anything about RBAC, DAC, MAC, Hashing Algorythms, and Key Management you'll know what I mean.

If you can spare the bucks then get them. My primary advice is to make sure and take notes while you watch. If you just try to watch them without actively participating the subject matter will put you to sleep - no offence towards the instructor who makes a dry subject much more tolerable.

As a side note, the ones I have appear to have been made around 2003. I don't know if it has been updated or not.
