Average # of Attempts to Pass Net+?
Maiko
Hello,
Does anyone have a percentage of how many Net+ testers pass on their first try? Second try? Etc??
This might help ease my nerves. Taking the test on December 7th.

I don't know what the exact numbers are, but most people pass it on their first or second attempt. Usually, the reason most people fail the first time around is because Network+ is a very popular exam to take as a first IT cert. Don't let your nerves get the better of you. Take a look at the exam objectives on the
CompTIA Network+ site
, make sure you're comfortable with each topic, and make sure you've got some good study material. The TechNotes on this site are excellent, there are lots of
excellent books
available, CBT Nuggets and
TestOut
also come highly recommended from a lot of members on the forum.
If you feel comfortable with the exam objectives and gotten a little bit of hands-on experience with basic networking equipment and configuration, you should do just fine. Just remember that it's only a test, you
can
pass it.

If you're confident and believe that you can pass it , nervous will disappear.
