One of my technician just ask me this question and I need answer.

He asked me how can we setup the background image on the login screen?

The screen where you will hit CTL-ALT-DEL
Kill All Suffer T "o" ReBorn

    There's a registry key to set it with, but at the moment it escapes where it is

    The Windows IT Pro link is for Windows 2000, but it might work for XP/2003 as well. It looks like it's a fairly involved process.

    Yeah I had to google it real quick. I never remember exact locations of GPOs or Registry Keys lol

    I wasn't thinking correctly. I guess that too much work on project management and network infrastructure. I admit that I forgot many thing that I learned after I don't use it for a while.

    Is it mean that I'm getting old? I'm in trouble....

    Personally, I don't like images there - I prefer to have a screen with system information. That is probably because I have many clients to look after and if i am doing remote support on 3 or 4 it makes life much easier.

    Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
    Working on: RHCE/Ansible
    Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...

    Ah, I bet that's what is on the UltimateCD4Windows disk. I noticed this on the screen, but didn't look too much into it.

    That is what it is. But they named it myinfo. So, if you want to make some font changes etc.. then that is what you will look for icon_wink.gif
