I'm getting ready to write my exam, should I expect to see tons of TCP/IP port questions ?

    I believe I came across a couple, but there weren't a lot. The CompTIA exams really go for breadth, so you're not going to see a lot of questions on a single topic. I can't remember any single topic dominating the exam.

    So I guess I cam expect a wide variation of questions. Are most of the questions relatively short and straight forward ?

    Much unlike the Microsoft questions.

    I actually thought some were vague and dated. The length varies as well. You're not going to get 100 questions that are just, "What port does HTTP typically operate on?" Some questions will have more than one correct answer, and you will need to select the "most correct" answer in order to get the question right.
