While going over the practice tests in Exam Cram #2, I noticed a clear contradiction in the same question from one test to the other. The question was:
Which of the following statements are correct about Encapsulated Secure Payload (ESP) and Authentication Header (AH)? [Choose the two best answers.]
Test #1 says that AH can encrypt data and verify data integrity, and that ESP can only verify data integrity.
Test #2 says AH can only verify data integrity, and that ESP can encrypt data and verify data integrity.
As you can see, both can't be right. Which is the correct answer?

dynamik Banned Posts: 12,312 ■■■■■■■■■□AH maintains authenticity and integrity while ESP does that as well as encryption.
