IPS alerts and syslog

Is this possible? I use syslog for everything cisco and non cisco, that is if the app or device that will pass logs to syslog.
I have my ASAs logging to syslog, but I can't seem to get the IPS to do this.
Now I am not h3ll bent on using syslog to see alerts and debugging etc... Yet I do not have access to a CSM type device.
Does anyone have any suggestions for monitoring IPS alerts/logs other than shelling into the device and doing
show event alert
???

liven Member Posts: 918Thanks for the tip on this software.
It is pretty nice.
I still am a big fan of command line syslog because I can use all the power of unix on the logs in pretty much real time. However there will be some lesser skilled folk looking at this log and this GUI will suit them nicely.encrypt the encryption, never mind my brain hurts.
