Hi all,
Does the new CCNA curriculum require hands on experience with Aironet WAPs or is purely theoretical knowledge required. I checked the curriculum on the Cisco website and my guess is you don't, however, that page can be a bit vague if that is all you are going off.
So can anyone clarify this?

So would I be right in saying that labbing for wireless gear would only be required for the Cisco Advanced Wireless LAN Field Specialist/Design Specialist certs? Does wireless enter into any of the other certs such as CCNP? -

He goes into wireless in the first part. I think that having the equipment for the NP and the specializations would help you, but you might be able to get by without it. -
dr_jared88 Member Posts: 20 ■□□□□□□□□□There is no configuration of wireless ap's. Just theory. You should be able to easily gain the knowledge required without physically having an ap.
