I know some of the guys here got a good background for home wiring and electrical now I got some questions. Is the Speaker Wire needs to be CL rated when installing Inwall or in Ceiling? Because when I call this company who sells different cable I ask about specifications for speaker wire and he told me that ratings just came in lately and not that important for speaker wire compare to elecrical wire which is mandatory so the specs. I would assume wire that not in a conduit would require a CL-3 rating, but you need to check your city/county/state zoning ordinances to determine if in-wall speaker wire must be CL-rated. Also, for specific questions about that speaker wire, you need to ask www.cablesforless.com.
