Hi!
I am preparing for CCNA(640-802) but I have not joined any training institute for that....could you please advise me as to how should I prepare for the simulations.
Thanks

2514 routers and 2950 switches are pretty cheap on ebay. -

Really though snag 3 routers and a 3 switches off ebay an sit them down. There are things that come up on the real thing, that just don't in the sims.-Daniel -

You might even make money if you advertise it as a set with some DTE/DCE cables and a rack and your books. Or you can keep them and build on them for a CCNP lab.

Also i'd have updated all the IOSs to like 12.3 or 12.4 or something simliar and i'd be able to advertise the fact that it was used to pass the CCNA, that all the equipment and CDs are designed for the CCNA and that everything is ready to go. Cause i'm having an issue with the switch that i'm fixing today, so I figure this is more or less of an investment.
Also I am seriously conisdering of buying a 2950 switch atm. Maybe wait until next paycheck or this all depends if I find a good deal.
