Score 728 for the 290 exam - 3rd time lucky

I don't understand why i really struggled to pass this one after smashing 937 marks on CCNA.
I only managed this after failing twice, phew!!! I believe i underestimated it because i have 2 yrs server 2003 experience and CCNA by revising it half-heartedly.

Anyway, i need some head ups for the 291 now and i want to pass it first time

a question; how does the second short voucher work? i have one that will expire 30th january 08. Can i use this one to book for 291 and don't have to pay?

Congratulations on the pass. From what I hear, the format of the MS and Cisco exams is fairly different, and that can trip you up if you aren't prepared.

The second shot allows you a free re-take if you fail the exam. You will not be able to do the free re-take after January 31st (which is why the voucher expires on the 30th). I don't think the second shot is a plausible option for anyone who isn't already mostly prepared and registered for an exam in the near future.
